How to register Change of Address?
A company may notify any change in the location of its registered office by sending a completed Form B2 - Change of registered office to the CRO.
When to register Change of Director?
Form B2 notification ought to be filed within 14 days of the change. It is an offence not to notify the CRO. Form B2 can be filed online using https://core.cro.ie.
What address can be registered?
The address must be a physical location, not just a post office box number because people have the right to visit the company's registered office to inspect certain registers and documents and to deliver documents by hand. The address should be such as to enable the delivery of correspondence by An Post.
Can I buy Registered Office address?
Companies can place their registered office in the care of an authorised agent who has an office in the State and is approved for this purpose by the Registrar of Companies.
Companies who wish to use the agent's address as their registered office will be required to consent to the agent's appointment as their ROA (Registered Office Agent) by including the registered agents name, number and address on the Form B2 or or form A1 (incorporation document).
